Good Friday Message!!!

Over the past few years I got to learn a lot of different translations of 'Good Friday'.
Everybody knows what it is for, but in some regions it is interpreted differently than in others...
For example - It is clear that this Friday should be 'Good' because the Lord, our God died on this day on the cross to cleanse us of our sins (and that's the GOOD side). However --- in some places the translation is not 'good' but 'Sad Friday' (literally). This is because everybody here grieves the death of our savior and do not give much stress upon the point that he had died for 'us' and that he does resurrect (they emphasize these points only on Easter).
Whatever the translation or interpretation may be, we must always remember that Jesus died for us and we are supposed praise God for it. Mourning and grieving is really pointless if you consider the fact that this was all prophesied beforehand and was meant to happen...
So enjoy the day and never lose your faith in the Lord...

Do you despise the Church? Are you a Lamp of GOD??? (New Series of Posts)

What's up guyz, I am transferring all the messages I had in my other blog : Understanding the Word to this blog... Have fun!

Paul had once asked the people if they secretly despised the Church. The importance of the question is that people might despise the Church by accident, if not intentionally...
In Revelations, Jesus is not among the lamps but among the lamp-STANDS.
Man (us) is the lamp of GOD as the Spirit of the Lord is said to be The Oil and the Word of the Lord is said to be the Fire. God has ordained the Church to make us shine as a lamp in its full potential. If you stay at home instead of attending Church, it will be an indirect message to others that the Church is a place where you would go only if you have nowhere else to go (we don't want to do that).
However, if you go to Church and accept the benefits but give away the responsibilities that GOD has ordained you for in your Church, then you are secretly despising the Church (we REALLY don't want to do that)... What we WANT to do is accept our responsibilities as the Lamp of GOD to those living in the "Dark"... Putting it into perspective - GOD is inviting you into his family, and everybody in a family has responsibilities. (Make sense???). GOD calls the Church his Body, and anybody who loves the Lord serves his Body. A couple of questions to ask yourself are:
Are you unconsciously despising his Body?
Are you prepared to go to Church???
If you are not prepared, then you can hardly expect GOD to listen and talk to you. There are some who think that those who jump for joy in the Lord are crazy. You must always be ready to answer such people if they ask you why you believe in Christ and how to become a Born Again.
If you tell people that you have changed but in reality have not, it is an indirect message that Jesus is unable to change you (which is definitely not true). BUT, the Lord will always accept you for the way you are. You may always come the way you want, but you won't stay that way forever. It is generally your life that people will read as their first Bible.. If they see errors in your life, they will never believe in GOD. Thus if there are errors in your life, you need to change. You need to understand that Jesus transforms when he touches.
You must feed your spirit with the best food i.e. the Word of GOD. If not, it is a message that you despise GOD and do not give him much importance... (NOT good)
Are you using your talents to serve the Lord who gave them to you? If not, you are giving another message that things of value lie elsewhere. You are saying that something else will give you more benefit...
---->You are DESPISING the Church(Again)
By your actions, you are saying that you are too good for the Church. On the other hand, you are here because GOD led you here... GOD knew that the Church and Jesus would be the best Lamp-stand for you to make you shine in every corner of your bright life.
If you are unconsciously despising the Church, you MUST repair the situation, you must come closer...

I hope this message would be able to change your life and strengthen your faith in GOD. I'm only 14 so please point out any mistakes I have made in the message...
