Forgotten

There is pain in my heart,

That overcomes all else,

And that one feeling alone,

Transcends everything other.

A quiet voice asked me - 

"Do you believe in Love?"

Silently I replied - 

"No, not anymore..."

And with those last words,

Reverberating through the gloom,

I fell into the void,

Deep, dark and nowhere,

Seen no more,

Forgotten...
