There is a fire in your heart,
One that fuels all emotions,
Meant to create warmth in the start,
Warmth that leads to compassion.
This fire is fed with happiness and smiles,
But in turn, when feeds anger,
Then the fire no longer warms,
But burns with great danger.
It burns not bright, but sharp as a sword,
A sword slicing through the night,
Silently killing without a word,
Drinking all darkness in sight.
And then this fire changes its color,
It changes dark red to blue,
And then it turns on the heart that fed it,
And then it turns on you.
