A new tablet has showed up on the GeekBench databases, sporting an incredible 4GB of RAM!!!
According to various sources such as The Times of India, Android Community and obviously, GeekBench, the tablet also features (very much surprisingly) an Intel Atom x5 Prcessor, confusing many as Samsung was doing well with the Exonys on its S6 (see posts). The Intel processor is clocked @ 2.24 GHz with 4 cores making it fast and the 4 GB RAM making it very efficient, ALSO suggesting that it will be able to operate the 64-bit applications that will begin to roll out next year.
It runs on Android 5.1 (Lollipop) and this is all the info available for now.
The name CHOPIN - LTE is obviously a code name and some believe it might be just another one of Samsung's prototypes which we may never see.
But it certainly would be VERY exciting to meet an awesome device like this out in the market and once it is out there, I will do an in-depth review on its specs, and a hands on review (if I can get my "hands on" one!)
Thanks for reading and stay tuned for future updates by liking, sharing and following!

Intel atom processor? seriously? is it the new one(when did a new one come?) or the old one? usually it's used in mini lappies and is known for it's poor clock-rate!!!!! last time I heard about it it was used in a Japanese robot!
ReplyDeleteAnd when did intel release a quad-core ATOM?
ReplyDeleteWhen did someone launch a 4 GB RAM? When did Samsung last use Intel? I dunno, they just DID! I think it's a new one. Thanks for reading!
