The MasterOv Controversy!

Hey people, today I am bringing to you what has been going on as a hot topic on YouTube for a few days since the time of writing. This is........... THE MASTEROV CONTROVERSY!!! 

This was a concept I did not understand in the beginning, so I had to see a few videos, but now that it finally makes sense and I have confirmed that it is true, I would like to share the knowledge so it is easier for others to understand and more people are aware of it. Now to explain (for those of you who don't know, MasterOv is a clasher)

According to the various videos I have seen, MasterOv "exploits" the YouTube search system by using a simple variation of "meta-tagging".

What this means is that you type stuff related to your videos in the first 3 lines of your video description and this will help people searching for words that you have included in finding your video at the top of the results. 

But what MasterOv does is putting some irrelevant tags also in his description, such as free gems etc. which he does not show in his video.  
Thus, when you type "Clash of Clans" in general in YouTube search, the first search results are his videos...
Because of this some of my favorite clashers slowed down in their channel growth while MasterOv got boosted. It took me a while to realize this was happening to every other YouTube Clasher. 

Some people claim they have seen "vulgar" words in some of his old video descriptions to get more views, but I haven't seen evidence of that YET. 
Anyhow, MasterOv still plays pretty well and this post does NOT mean you should ditch him, but he still shouldn't resort to unfair means and beat other Clashers down. 
These are my views on the subject and I hope I helped those who were trying to comprehend this topic.


P.S. HOW I CAME TO KNOW SO MUCH WAS  - I TYPED "IS MASTEROV AN IDIOT" ON GOOGLE (JUST FOR THE INNOCENT FUN OF IT, I WAS GETTING BORED) AND I FOUND POSTS SAYING "IS MASTEROV DOING THE RIGHT THING?" AND I EXPLORED!!!



EDIT (10/5/15) : Apparently, MasterOv has changed his approach to his videos and is now just posting random gaming videos. It's actually pretty rare to see a Clash of Clans video by him and he seems to be trying to be like PewDiePie without the cussing, if you ask me. He is also gaining a HUGE bunch of subscribers and is climbing up to the "Million Milestone".

BEST SMARTPHONE SO FAR?! (As of January, 2015)

It's kinda tough to post everyday 'coz I keep running out of topics... But here's one for today :

 The OnePlus One!

(Their motto is "Never Settle" 'coz they believe in fulfilling all their customer's wishes!!!)

One thing I love about the OnePlus One is that it has got great specifications at a stunning price. What's more, the invite problem was solved long ago when people began selling invite codes on ebay!!!

When I consider some phones with similar or better specifications, I always  manage to find some kind of a flaw with it. Sometimes a horrible camera, terrible build material, unbelievable price blah blah blah!
But this is the only one I would actually consider perfect. I mean c'mon, gaming specifications at a price tag of 349 USD 64GB and 299 USD!

Some of the basic specifications are : 
5.5" JDI with coming Gorilla Glass 3,

13 Megapixel rear camera with 4K resolution video with stereo recording Slow Motion: 720p video at 120fps and 5 megapixel front camera, 

3 GB LP-DDR3, 1866MHz RAM, 

Adreno 330, 578MHz GPU,

Qualcomm^© Snapdragon™ 801 processor with 2.5GHz Quad-core  CPU

AND, (wait for it!!!),
Cyanogen 11S based on Android 4.4 OS! They say it will even have OTA updates, which I find pretty cool!!!

They call this phone their FLAGSHIP KILLER!, and I agree, 'coz nothing I've seen so far matches such specs with such a price!!!

Clash Of Clans Attack Strategies (TH7)

Hey guys. I'm bringing you another post but this time it's on my favorite Android game "Clash Of Clans". 

To start off with, I'm a clasher who goes mainly by the name Shade (I'm also known by 6 other aliases, different accounts of mine - Addiction Alert!). Now for the attack strategies --

1. One of my favorite attack strategies is the Barch strategy 'coz it has worked wonderful for me, except in war, and if you can do it properly, you can even 1 star a th8, 2 star a th7 and 3 star a th6, with level 4 troops, with one extra star each if it's level 5 troops That's right, you can 4 star a th6! >>> (3 star with swag!).

2. ALL WIZARDS!!! - This strategy has worked PERFECTLY for every TH 7 base I have gone up against and I bag all the loot with the 3 star... However, this works best in TH7 only if you have lvl 4 or above wizards as I have noticed that lvl 4 wizards have a significant health boost compared to lvl 3 ones so they take a lot of hits. What you wanna do is have 50 wizards, 2 lvl 4 rage spells and 1 lvl 4 heal spell and a Barbarian King. 

Drop the rage spells near to first two mortars (which will definitely be near the edges) and drop all your wizards in 2 perpendicular lines(to each other). Then, drop your Barbarian King on the side of whichever mortar that goes down second and drop your heal spell near the middle of the base where the two wizard groups will combine and watch them wreck the rest of the base... Some people even use a bunch of giants to take the hits. One variation would be using 2 giants and 2 balloons as well and set them equally with each group to take out the mortars quickly.

UPDATE : Some new ones (I keep experimenting to get you the best)...

3. Giants and Balloons ---- Here you do the same as what you did with the all wizard raid. You gotta have 22 giants and 18 balloons. Put them in two groups of 11 giants and 9 balloons each with a rage spell each near the two mortars and use the heal spell when they converge near the middle. 

4. Archers and Giants ----- You may have tried this as a variation for Barch but the troop composition has to be around 22 Giants and 90 Archers with 1 Rage Spell and 2 Heal Spells... Drop all the giants together (don't spread them out) near whichever wizard tower is closest (or mortar) and then spread the Archers in a line behind them like you would do in Barch, heal the giants after they take out two defenses, rage them up as they reach the center and heal up all the troops again whenever you want...
Tried, tested and true...

Nvidia Shield Tablet (tech)

What's up guyz? I'm here with another tech related post (I have an inclination towards these kind of things) and I bring to you the great and mighty NVIDIA SHIELD!!!

The Nvidia company primarily manufactures Graphics/Video Cards and thus, a tablet is slightly out of the way but not completely strange for them... 

The Nvidia Shied tablet is a gaming tablet that is aimed at users with a budget and includes Nvidia's very own Tegra K1 CPU with 192 CUDA cores for a GPU which uses the same technology for processing as supercomputers. It also comes with 2 GB of Ram which is pretty standard. 

Adding to that the 1920 X 1080 HD display it has and you have a great, GREAT tablet for a wonderful price. Here's the fact. The Nvidia Shield Tablet costs only $299!!! (For those who don't know it, that's a spectacular price for a gaming tablet!)

If you look carefully enough at the image given above, you will notice that it has front-facing speakers, which is a must have for all gamers, unless they are using earphones. The Wi-Fi version of the tablet comes for 299 USD and the 3G + LTE version of the tablet comes for 399 USD. But one problem I face when considering this tablet is that I can't find its battery listing anywhere. 

Besides that, it's got a 5 MP Front and Rear camera, which is "a-okay" for everyday usage. 
Finally, since Nvidia is a graphics card manufacturing company, you can obviously link it to your computer if it running an Nvidia card, and you can stream your gaming to your PC or TV. Also, you can hook up  shield controller to it to enhance your gaming experience. iPhone or Android devices (iOS or Android)

Now, I know this a very out of news topic, but I see many people still not so sure about it...
Well, I am going to try to make things easier (I have first hand experience of both)---

                            

The problem we face with iDevices is their soaring price. We see many devices with similar specs for a few 100 bucks cheaper. But the iOS is not completely useless. I have noticed that iPhones have a very good build quality (maybe except for the iPhone 6 and 6+) which lives up to their price. Also, the specifications are "okay". However, one thing I HAVE to point out is that iPhones are WAAAAAAAY more stable than updated Android devices. When I updated my Grand 2's firmware to the very next (kitkat), I lost the fun of using it. It would heat up and lag very frequently. But, BUT, when I upgraded my iPhone's firmware from iOS 4 to iOS 7.1.2 (mark 3 firmwares in the middle left out), there was no such problem at all. So, firmware stability wise, definitely iPhone. 

On the other hand, iOS seems very congested to me, even though that may be due to the small size of most iPhones. Android seems much cleaner than iOS and stock Android is very nice. Also Android seems to offer more options than iOS, especially when rooting as opposed to jail-breaking an iDevice.
If you are looking for a long lasting phone and extravaganza, then iPhone is your way to go. If you are a bit more of a thinker and want more options than an iPhone, then go for Android.

NO, this is not a biased review, I have pointed out the Pros and Cons of both.
YES, I prefer Android more than iOS, but that's only 'coz I have more experience on Android.

WINDOWS 10!!!!! (FREE!)

That's right guys!!! You read the title well, I think, WINDOWS 10 is being launched by Microsoft this very year and the technical preview will be available for download on the Microsoft Website in a week (from the date of this post)...

But WAIT!!! It's not over YET!!! According to various trusted sources, the official Microsoft Windows 10 OS will be available to download for FREE!!!

But this is only for the first year of release, and then it will cost you money. So download OS 10 in the first year itself and save up on money.
                     

The Windows 10 OS will have a desktop voice assistant like Siri called Cortana, who will be voice operated. There also will be a new integrated browser called Spartan which is supposed to be a replacement for Internet Explorer. There are many other features that you can know about on the Microsoft Official Website.
