I had just posted about the Samsung Galaxy S6 yesterday and today I am bringing you a tough competitor for it, i.e., the high and mighty Motorola Moto Turbo!!!
To start off with, I will obviously state the specifications:
Display : Resolution - 5.2" Quad HD (1440x2560 pixels) AMOLED
Pixel Density - 565 ppi with Gorilla Glass 3
Battery : 3900mAh, i.e. 48 hours of mixed usage (WOW!!!)
Processor : Quad Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor 2.7 GHz
GPU (Graphics Processing Unit) : Adreno 420
RAM : 3 GB
Internal Storage : 64 GB
Operating System (OS) : Android 5.0 (Lollipop)
Camera (Secondary/Front) : 2MP
(Primary/Rear) : 21 MP with a whole arsenal of features such as slow-mo, burst-mode, and even recording 4K videos @ 24fps (INCREDIBLE!)
Charger : Now this is something extra I noticed besides the basic features; It supports the Motorola Turbo Charger which claims to provide 7 hours of battery life with just 15 mins of charging!
All this proves that this phone is easily tough competition for the S6 and it also comes with a price tag of just 671.668 USD (41,999 INR)
Awesome right?!
NOTE : The only significant difference between the Motorola Moto Maxx and the Motorola Moto Turbo that I noticed is that the Maxx ships with Android 4.4.4 (KitKat) while the Turbo is loaded with Android 5.0.2 (Lollipop)...
That's all I have for now, you can read more about this phone at the official Motorola website here.

Is motorola moto turbo out here in India?
ReplyDeleteAnd there is one prob the secondary cam is too bad for a selfie! and according to what I know this thing will be a very big problem for people who love taking selfies rest of the people will like it! but people who don't know the potential of a mobile phone/smart phone are the ones who usually take selfies!
ReplyDeleteWell, yeah. You are right about that. But how many people who don't know about the potential of smartphone would take this brand as their first choice. Thanks for pointing it out, and thanks for reading! Also, yes it is out in India, I believe it came here first, Motorola being an Indian company. It was announced in October, 2014, and I saw it (read about it) on 28th March, 2015...

I didn't know that Motorola is an Indian company!! hahahaha!!! XD it doesn't even sound like one! usually typical Indian companies (as you very well know) keep their company's name either on a god or jus give em a random name like nimbu, tadka, carbun etc......
ReplyDeleteWait a sec!!! Nope, will scratch that part out, it's not an Indian company, but it did split up in 2011, into Motorola Mobility and Motorola Solutions (who knew?!) one of which has a strong presence in India! Thanks a lot for pointing that out! Motorola was based in the US (in Illinois)
